Reconnect is a program managed by Goodwill and Dell. The equipment you donate to Reconnect is managed with highest standards for workplace and environmental safety. You can rest assured the program is not exporting waste or sending any environmentally sensitive material to landfills. All collection and recycling practices are audited by a third-party to ensure all environmental standards are met.
Goodwill generates opportunities for people to achieve economic stability and build strong families and vibrant communities by offering job training, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges.
Reconnect provides consumers free and convenient recycling options for used computer equipment. The drop-off convenience that Reconnect offers consumers is an important part of the recycling program.
Reconnect accepts any brand of personal computer equipment in any condition and recycles it for free. We also accept anything that can be attached to a computer. These items can be dropped off at any Goodwill Store locations in South Central Ohio. Items we accept include:
• Monitors
• Laptop and Desktop Computers
• Printers
• Scanners
• Keyboards
• Mice
• Speakers
• Cords and Cables
• Ink and Toner Cartridges
• Webcams
• Cell Phones
The proceeds from your donation are all returned to Goodwill and help support Goodwill’s mission of putting people to work. You can obtain a receipt for tax purposes, plus you are helping to protect the environment and benefit your community.
